VACANCY - GOVERNANCE SECRETARY (VOLUNTEER)


Manawatū Rugby is seeking a Governance Secretary to support our board and management in achieving quality governance of the organisation.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• coordination of governance meetings

• management (and preparation support) of board documentation 

• capture minutes at monthly board meetings

• support the development and deployment of the annual board governance plan

• support governance to deliver specific governance projects as required

• ensure the board completes governance policy reviews

 • support management with a review of organisational policies 

 

Key competencies:

• proven advanced secretarial skills and administrative experience
• advanced user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• advanced knowledge of administrative policies, procedures and technology
• a structured, organised and proactive “can do” approach. 

 

This is a voluntary position. The person in the role will recieve a koha for ther service.
