The Best and Fairest Awards are presented to the top Senior 1 men's and Prue Christie Cup (women's grade) players at the end of the season.
The Senior 1 Best and Fairest Award winner is decided by a 3-2-1 voting system after each game throughout the season. Traditionally, the voters have been representatives from the Manwatū Standard newspaper.
The Prue Christie Cup Best and Fairest Award was established and awarded for the first time in 2023. Team coaches voted on the winner using a 3-2-1 system.
