As part of Manawatū Rugby's Pathways Strategy, a Manawatū High Performance men's team will take on Pacific Island Rugby (PIR), an invitational team from Bay of Plenty on 17 February.

This one-off game will give leading local players and those new to the province the opportunity to put their best foot forward and get a taste of MRU's High Performance environment.

This squad doesn't include academy players (who have their own games coming up) and players who are currently with Super Rugby or overseas clubs.

The game will kick off at 12pm at Massey University
